Winter in Melbourne is in full swing, but for those socially inclined this doesn’t mean having to put away your dancing shoes just yet, thanks to some great events happening around Southbank in Melbourne.
If you’re looking for something family friendly to do during these school holidays then get yourself to Eureka Skydeck where they have installed a 40 metre long ice slide! Rug up and jump on the giant inflatable tubes; there are twin lanes so you can make it a race, and Ludlow Bar (situated right next door to the slide) will be open and serving hot drinks and great food to help warm you up.
#melbourneiceslide runs from July 1-16. Full details here
Oui oui, Bastille Day is coming up and you can celebrate with French inspired cocktails, beers, wines and light canapés at Melbourne’s highest vantage point, Eureka 89. Come and celebrate French culture whilst enjoying some of Melbourne’s most incredibly breathtaking views.
