Christmas in July Events
Is the longing for that magical feeling so strong that we can’t wait for December or is it our chance to rug up in scarfs and daggy Christmas jumpers and try and get those nostalgic white Christmas feels that we miss out on in December!!
July is generally the coldest month of the Australian winter, so celebrations emulate the atmosphere of the northern hemisphere winter. So that means hearty food like roasts, and warm drinks in front of fireplaces and bonfires and for some lucky ones, holidays in the snow.
It’s not an official holiday and it’s not celebrated by everyone, but that hasn’t stopped us from putting on some delicious feasts and festive party feels at our venues.
It’s time to dig out your daggiest Christmas jumper and join in a bit of fun and festive frivolity this July.

Christmas in July Celebrations on Southbank Book our Christmas in July Lunch Sunday 26 July. Enjoy the lovely atmosphere of Hophaus, with views over the city and river and friendly service from our team. 3 course festive menu with shared entree & main and a choice of dessert at $75 per person and childrens 2 course menu (12 yrs & under) $30 per person.
